Friday Recap for December 27, 2024
This is the last recap for 2024. As usual, the year has flown by in a wink of an eye. I am looking forward to 2025 for many reasons. We never know what a new year will bring, but it does allow us a fresh start of sorts.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. There is a lot to be thankful for as we prepare for another year. I am happy to be representing you as Commissioner of District 10 and am looking forward to working together as we move Williamson County forward. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.

Williamson County School District
There were no meetings this week and there are none scheduled for the next week. The meetings for January are:
- Policy committee January 6th
- Work Session January 16th
- Full Board Meeting January 21st
Williamson County Commission
Last week, I inadvertently left out the Education Committee meeting that was held on Monday. They voted on the School District's five year capital plan also known as the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The lone no vote was Barb Sturgeon who had concerns about the uncertainties created by the shrinking student enrollment. Student enollment is down .07% this year
Mary Smith published an excellent news letter and I am copying her take on the Education meeting in addition to what I have provided.

The next committee meeting is Public Health on January 2nd. Meeting notice
Board of Mayor and Aldermen
There were no meetings this week. Next week looks like this
Williamson County Election Commission
There are no more meetings scheduled for next week.
If not me, who?
If not now, when?
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Heb. 11:1)
“We work hard with our own hands. When we are vilified, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer gently.” (1st Corinthians 4:12-13)
Blessings,
Bill
